Terms Of Service

Last updated November 3, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and FIN University ("we", "us"), the provider of the FIN University app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

FIN University is a financial education app with simulated ("paper") trading using real market prices, lessons, videos, leaderboards and classroom competitions. No real money is ever invested or traded.

Not Financial Advice

All information in the Service is for general educational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security, option or cryptocurrency. Market data may be delayed or inaccurate. Any real-world decisions you make are your own responsibility.

Eligibility And Accounts

You must be of legal age to enter a contract, or have permission from a parent, guardian or your school. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it. Keep your login details confidential and provide accurate information; you are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

Intellectual Property

FIN University owns the Service and all related software, content, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your selected plan. You keep ownership of content you upload (such as a profile picture) and grant us a limited license to host it solely to provide the Service.

Payments And Subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, renewal, taxes, cancellation and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Individual subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. School plans are invoiced directly under a separate agreement. See our Refund Policy.

Service Availability

We work to keep the Service running well, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that market data will always be available or accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Suspension And Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. When access ends, we may delete your account data after a reasonable period.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FIN University operates. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions: ajshears70@gmail.com.
